The Virginia Catholic Conference has received notice that the Virginia Commission on Immigration will hold a series of public hearings over the next several months. A press release from the state Department of Social Services (in English and Spanish) regarding the first public hearing (in Fairfax) appears below. Press releases regarding subsequent hearings in Roanoke, Norfolk, Harrisonburg, and Richmond will be disseminated as they are received. Public input is highly encouraged!
